Born in Taiwan, I moved to Argentina at the age of 9, where I spent most of my childhood. My passion for dentistry began while attending the University of MD at College Park, where I worked part-time as a dental assistant. There, I met a team of amazing dentists who inspired me to become the dentist I am today.
After earning my DDS from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Dental Surgery in 2002, I have spent the past 24 years dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care. I am licensed in the state of Maryland, board certified through the North East Regional Board, and a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA). My advanced technology certifications include Certified LANAP Clinician, Certified Invisalign Provider, Certified Bioclear Clinician, and Implant Seminars training — all allowing me to offer patients the most comprehensive and cutting-edge treatment options available. I am also proud to be fluent in English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese, making it easier to connect with and serve patients from diverse backgrounds.
My philosophy of care is simple: I treat every patient with the same compassion, honesty, and attention I would give to my own family and friends. I take a no-pressure approach to dentistry and take time to clearly explain each patient's oral health so they can make confident, informed decisions. My family and friends would describe me as funny, patient, meticulous, and organized — qualities I bring to every appointment.
The satisfaction of delivering beautiful, healthy smiles that improve people's everyday lives is truly rewarding. To ensure my patients receive the most comprehensive and technologically advanced care, I stay current by completing continuing education courses throughout the year. I am also proud to have been featured on the cover of Dental Town Magazine alongside my colleague Dr. Liu.
Giving back to our community is something I care deeply about. Our practice participates in the Give Kids a Smile program, providing free dental care to underserved children, and we visit local primary schools and daycare centers to promote oral health education. We are also proud supporters of Clarksburg Closet, a nonprofit providing free clothing to neighbors in need, and Operation Second Chance, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting combat-wounded veterans on their road to recovery.
Outside of dentistry, I love traveling with my family and friends to explore different cultures and cuisines — we're always on the hunt for a great new restaurant and don't mind going the extra mile for it. I also enjoy collecting miniature motorized trains and spending time with my wife and playing video games with my kids.
